Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of Iraqi security television programs broadcast on satellite channels in enhancing intellectual security among the Iraqi public, in addition to examining the level of security awareness formed among members of society through following these programs. Based on the importance of Iraqi security television programs and recognizing the significant role satellite channels play for audiences in obtaining information related to security issues, whether concerning internal security, terrorism, or extremist ideologies, the researcher sought to examine the role of these programs using a scientific methodology. The study aims to identify the most prominent security television programs and the types preferred by respondents, as well as patterns and motivations for viewership. It also evaluates the level of trust and credibility attributed to the security content presented in Iraqi security television programs, in addition to determining the extent to which these programs contribute to strengthening intellectual security among the Iraqi public.
