Journal of Al-Turath University College (JATUC) is a fully open-access journal. All articles published on the journal’s current Open Journal Systems platform are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription charges, registration requirements, or embargo periods.

Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, crawl for indexing, and otherwise reuse the full text of articles published on the current platform in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Appropriate credit must be given to the original author or authors, the original publication in JATUC must be cited, a link to the licence must be provided, and any modifications must be indicated.

Previous volumes and issues published during the period 2001–2025 are freely accessible through the journal’s previous archive on the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals platform (IASJ). The copyright and licensing terms applicable to articles in the previous archive are determined by the copyright or licensing statement displayed in each individual article or issue. The current CC BY 4.0 licence does not apply retrospectively to archived articles unless expressly stated in the relevant article or issue.
