This study addresses the problem of establishing nationality in cases of artificial fertilization in light of scientific progress and the legal complexities it has created in determining parentage, and the resulting implications for the determination of nationality. The study is divided into two main sections. The first examines cases of artificial fertilization within the framework of the marital relationship, whether ongoing or terminated, and analyzes their impact on the establishment of parentage and nationality. The second section is devoted to the study of artificial fertilization outside the marital framework, including the multiplicity of parties involved in the reproductive process, as well as virtual fertilization and the legal issues it raises. The study aims to emphasize the need for a legal framework that ensures the protection of the child’s legal status
